Love People
SERVOLUTION

Servolution is something that Hillsong Church was apart of this year. It involved churches all across the world showing the love of Christ in practical ways to those in their local communities. This was such a great blessing to be a part of! Here are a few of the things that the different teams got up to:

- Connect Groups all chipped in to make up 4 large food hampers to give to families who are doing it tough and took the hampers their homes. Two of the families gathered the whole family together so we could pray with them and they were all blown out with the generosity. One young mum also received a large box of nappies for her daughter.

- 18 individual meals were organsied for local Ambulance officers “Meals for Medics” and were delivered in Campbelltown.

- The Sisterhood (Hillsong Women’s Ministry) and other volunteers gave a mini makeover for a family who are doing it tough with cancer. The mum received a manicure and pedicure while the team tidied up house and garden.

- 40 youth were involved with the makeover of a local basketball court.

- A team of guys built a veggie patch for a pre-school.

- Sisterhood volunteers visited children & families in Westmead Children’s Hospital through our partnership with cure our kids. The volunteers have had the privilege of making jewellery with these kids and also providing hospitality to their parents.

This is just a small example of all of the amazing things that went on that week. But the best part is, it doesn’t end there! Hillsong CityCare is out in the community every single week with Street Team, just helping out wherever they can.

This year at Colour Conference (Hillsong’s women’s conference) all the girls were asked to bring items such as hygiene products to go into packs that would be given out to the homeless of Sydney. Well these women brought in over 15,000 items for these packs! which made up over 1500 packs to be given out to our city’s homeless. What an amazing example of helping Christ’s love!
